The newly-founded chamber music organization, Clarinet & Friends, is proud to present a concert of “American Favorites,” featuring the music of George Gershwin, Benny Goodman, Scott Joplin and Artie Shaw. The concert will illustrate the evolution and incorporation of Klezmer music into American Jazz, showing how many of the great Jazz artists of American history have strong Eastern European roots. The concert will feature 15 year-old Aaron Lipsky on clarinet and Alex Watson on piano. We hope you join us!
